Understanding the ecology of the Okanagan is critically important, as our ºÚÁÏרÇø Valley faces many threats from development and climate change.
Ecologist and author Don Gayton will lead a participatory discussion on how we can deepen our understanding of, and commitment to, the complex ecology of the Okanagan.

Speaker:
Longtime Summerland resident Don Gayton has worked on many aspects of Okanagan ecology.
He is the author of seven non-fiction books, and holds a Master’s Degree in Ecology from the University of Saskatchewan.
